We are excited to provide this conference which will be presented in a fast-moving format. Pertinent to urban, rural and volunteer EMS, the focus is on contemporary initiatives, topics, and challenges at the local, state and national levels delivered by a variety of well-respected speakers. Workshop Details (Nov 6)
8:30 am - 4:30 pm
This workshop will provide participants with a practical framework for developing and implementing a successful Mobile Integrated Healthcare and Community Paramedicine program. Attendees will learn how to use community needs assessment data to identify service gaps and recruit key partners and stakeholders necessary to build an effective healthcare network. The session will explore the development of community paramedicine training programs for Ohio EMS providers, including strategies for competency assessment, ongoing education, and skill retention. Participants will also review best practices for creating patient care protocols, coordinating with healthcare and community partners, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation and information-sharing processes. Finally, the workshop will examine current billing and reimbursement models, helping EMS leaders understand sustainable approaches to funding community paramedicine services within an integrated healthcare system. Registrations will not be accepted on-site.
Conference fee includes lunch.
Cancellation Policy & Information
Refunds will be made upon receipt of a written request by October 22, 2026 less a $25 administrative fee.
No refunds will be given for cancellations after October 22, 2026.
