Eashwar B. Chandrasekaran, MD
Dr. Eashwar B. Chandrasekaran is a dual board-certified physician in Emergency Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Medicine, currently practicing in Central Indiana. He serves as a Staff Physician in Emergency Medicine across multiple health systems including Johnson Memorial Health, Major Hospital, and Witham Health Services, where he is also an active member of the Credentials and Code Committees.
Dr. Chandrasekaran completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident and Site Chief at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. He went on to complete a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Northeast Ohio Medical University.
Previously, Dr. Chandrasekaran held the academic title of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM), where he continues to serve as a clinical instructor for medical students and residents. His academic contributions include peer-reviewed journal articles in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons and book chapters in The Encyclopedia of Obesity and Pain Medicine Board Review. He has presented extensively at national conferences such as SAEM and ACEP, and remains active in mentoring emerging physicians through IUSM.
