Brad Gable, MD, FACEP
Dr. Brad Gable attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine and graduated in '09. Dr. Gable completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Summa - Akron City Hospital in '12. He was the first person in the state of Ohio to graduate from a Medical Simulation Fellowship in '13. Currently he is working as an emergency medicine physician with Mid-Ohio Emergency Services (MOES). In addition, Dr. Gable is the System Medical Director for OhioHealth Simulation and is responsible for simulation training across OhioHealth's 3 simulation centers, 16 hospitals, 200 caresites, and 37,000 associates. Dr. Gable serves as faculty for the OhioHealth Simulation Fellowship. In addition, Dr. Gable has faculty appointments with several local universities: Adjunct Associate Professor of Biomedical Education and Anatomy, The Ohio State University College of Medicine; Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine, Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, Department of Family Medicine; Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, Northeastern Ohio Medical University (NEOMED); Clinical Assistant Professor, University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, Department of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Gable has served as the Chair of Graduate Medical Education at Riverside Methodist Hospital. In addition, he currently serves on the education committee with Ohio ACEP. He has more than 40 peer reviewed publications. Dr. Gable has won numerous awards including the Courage to Teach, AIAMC Innovation Award, Ohio ACEP Medical Education Award, Columbus Business First 40 Under 40 award, EMRA 25 Under 45 Award, and multiple Gold awards from the Brandon Hall group for best use of simulation.
