EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
- ED Volume: 39,000
- The ED was built in 2011 and is arranged in multiple zones with 45 treatment rooms
- The patient population is broad, community-type patient pathology with a 30% admission/transfer rate
- Utilizes a Rapid Assessment Zone to maintain patient flow
- Excellent specialty support with only pediatric and trauma, as well as some neurosurgery and psychiatry, cases transferred
- EM ultrasound
