Ohio ACEP offers a Basic Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Course that was designed by emergency physicians to meet the specific education needs of physicians who want to learn ultrasound technology.

Basic Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Course includes:

• Basic understanding of the physics & instrumentation of ultrasound
• Enhancement of cognitive & psychomotor skills
• Clinical applications of ultrasound in the ED
• Review of political issues surround the use of ultrasound in the ED
• Over 10 hours of hands-on scanning with live models
