2016 Annual Awards Nominations Due
Ohio ACEP members make a positive impact every day through significant contributions to their patients and to the specialty of emergency medicine. Ohio ACEP is committed to recognizing these efforts. Each year, the Ohio ACEP Annual Awards Program seeks to recognize and honor excellence in Advocacy, Education, and Leadership.
- Bill Hall Award for Service – Our highest award for service to Ohio Chapter ACEP
- EM Physician of the Year Award – To recognize clinicians of unusual merit and who espouse and encourage members to pursue the ideals of emergency medicine
- Emergency Physician Advocacy Award – For outstanding leadership in legislative advocacy efforts on behalf of emergency medicine, their patients, and their community
- Emergency Physician Medical Education Award – To commend excellence in emergency medicine education
- Emergency Physician Leadership Award – For outstanding leadership in emergency medicine and to the Chapter
- Outstanding Emergency Medicine Resident of the Year Award – To recognize a resident of outstanding merit who demonstrates exemplary clinical promise, leadership, and commitment to their patients and emergency medicine
Awards will be presented during the 2016 Annual Meeting at the Ohio Emergency Medicine Leadership Forum, April 19 at the Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square.
We know many of Ohio’s emergency physicians are deserving of these awards; please take a moment to nominate!
