White Coat Leaders Retreat

Attention Students, Residents, and Young Career Professionals!
You're invited to the OOA White Coat Leaders Retreat. Osteopathic medical students, residents, and young career professionals are invited to expand their leadership presence and strengthen their voice within the profession through this event.
The program begins on Saturday afternoon, November 15, and concludes on Sunday, November 16, after lunch. Accommodations, meals, and beverages will be provided. Space is limited to 60 participants, and there will be no virtual option.
The retreat will feature sessions on practical skills to support your leadership journey. Potential topics may include:
- Advocacy – Standing up for patients and the profession
- Communication – Speaking clearly, listening well, resolving conflicts
- Emotional Intelligence – Being aware of your feelings and others
- Ethics – Making good decisions in complex situations
- Feedback – Accepting and giving
- Financial Foundations for Future Physicians
- Finding Opportunities – Getting involved in leadership roles early
- Mentorship – Learning from and supporting others

The Ohio Osteopathic Foundation (OOF) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.
Grievance Policy
The White Coat Leaders Retreat is designed to comply with Uniform Guidelines for Accrediting Agencies of Continuing Medical Education. Questions or complaints concerning the program should be submitted in writing and directed to the Executive Director. All grievances will receive an initial response in writing within 30 days of receipt.
