The Ohio Chapter, American College of Emergency Physicians ( Ohio ACEP) represents more than 1,600 Emergency Medicine Physicians practicing in the State of Ohio. Ohio ACEP is dedicated to our patients and the health of the community. Emergency physicians have been involved in bedside care throughout this pandemic, and have personally stood witness to the unprecedented effects of COVID-19. Ohio ACEP supports public health measures that will prevent the spread of disease including wearing a mask, social distancing, and hand washing. As physicians and scientists, we support measures within our community to begin vaccine administration in the interest of public health. Vaccines will save lives and slow the spread of the virus and serve as a catalyst towards halting the continued devastation of COVID in our communities.
