Ohio ACEP Board of Directors Candidate

Nicole Veitinger, DO

Columbus, Ohio

Dr. Nicole Veitinger is currently an attending physician in Columbus for MidOhio Emergency Services, a group covering several Central Ohio hospitals, including Grant Medical Center, Riverside Methodist Hospital, and Dublin Methodist Hospital.

Dr. Veitinger completed her residency at Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth Medical Center/Cleveland Clinic EM Residency, where she served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Veitinger is a Councillor representing the Ohio Chapter on ACEP Council and is a graduate of Ohio ACEP’s Leadership Development Academy (LDA). She now serves as Co-chair of the Ohio ACEP Leadership Committee, which oversees LDA.

If elected to serve on the Ohio ACEP Board of Directors, Dr. Veitinger hopes to continue and enhance the Chapter’s outreach to members, residents, and medical students. As a graduate of the Ohio ACEP Leadership Development Academy, she also hopes to enrich the program and strengthen and develop the Chapter’s Leadership Committee.

As an ACEP member early in her emergency medicine career, her participation in both the Leadership Development Academy and serving on Council as part of the Ohio delegation have impacted her significantly. She has enjoyed representing and advocating for her fellow Ohio emergency physician and hopes to continue that work by becoming a member of the Ohio ACEP Board of Directors.
