Ohio ACEP 21st Annual EMR Course a Total Success !

Beginning with two days of pre-conference options, including Oral Board and Ultrasound courses, EMR 2005 was a success for the Ohio Chapter. Held in Columbus, Ohio at the Renaissance Hotel, the Emergency Medicine Review Course provided a comprehensive review of emergency medicine to the nearly 500 registrants present at the six-day course. Lecture highlights included Dr. Amal Mattu's cardiovascular lectures, 2006 LLSA topics and nightly rapid reviews hosted by Drs. King, de Saint Victor and Sells.

Registrants visited exhibitors during breaks to browse educational products, learn about various group practice options and patient wound care alternatives. Other popular lecture break alternatives included: visiting Ohio ACEP's superstore for complimentary fresh popcorn or purchasing additional study materials, viewing additional study material in the photo stimuli, x-ray, video and computer rooms or taking a break amid the downtown high rises on the fourth floor deck.

EMR 2006 is scheduled for September 12-19 at The Columbus, A Renaissance Hotel.
